Electric pulse fishing

Electric pulse fishing differs from other trawling techniques: the tickler changes from a beamtrawl have been replaced with light ropes that emit short electric pulses. The electricity causes the (flat)fish to jump from the seafloor into the nets. The gear is not as destructive as beamtrawls to the seafloot and pulse fishing also reduces fuel use.
