The Aesop shrimp, striped shrimp or pink shrimp is a cold-water shrimp from the same family as the northern prawn. This species occurs in the sub-arctic waters on the northern hemisphere, in the Arctic Ocean and the northern Atlantic Ocean. This species prefers hard substrates and mainly occurs at depths of 20 -100 meters.
